Volunteering

Montsalvat is a not-for-profit organisation. Our volunteers make a very valuable contribution to Montsalvat and they enjoy being part of the team.

One recent example of volunteers making a very real difference to Montsalvat was the Veggie Garden Working Bee. We had a great response from volunteers and the veggie gardens were prepared for Spring planting. Weeds were pulled, soil broken and mushroom compost dug in. After all the hard work, a delicious BBQ lunch was served. Our chef and gardener are working together, planting vegetables, salads and herbs which are part of the new café menu.

There are various ways to get involved with Montsalvat as a volunteer. Roles include gardening, general maintenance, tour guides, gallery attendants, fundraising, reception, festival staff, trades people, historians, IT experts, promotions, administration and general roustabouts.

Montsalvat volunteers speak very highly of their rewarding experiences with us, and offering your help can also lead to many worthwhile benefits including:
