Angela was awarded the Bale Art Travelling
Scholarship 1983, Member of
the Twenty Melbourne Painters Society Inc. Oil, traditional. Students
are taught to observe the essence of a subject (its form, tone) in
order to paint directly onto canvas, using a disciplined approach.

is well known for his contemporary oils and gouaches. His teaching
concentrates on giving students a thorough training in oil painting and
studio practices. He believes that students need a firm foundation in
painting before developing their own personal ideas.

Don
has been teaching oil painting for more than twenty years and bases his
methods on the tonal realist school centered around Max Meldrum.
He teaches the discipline of painting from seeing to the final
application of paint as well as the use and care of equipment and
materials.
Still life and landscape are covered, with beginners to advanced
students welcome.
Nine week terms run concurrent with school terms. Occasional portrait
workshops are available.

Sebastian
is a former student of such guitar luminaries as Len Williams, Sadie
Bishop, Jose Luis Gonzalez (Australia), Ida Presti, Alexander Lagoya
(France), Ahrio Diaz (Italy), and John Williams (London). Winner of the
coveted Castel Maria de Stabia Guitar Competition (Italy), Sebastian
has played at Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall
alongside guitarists Paco Pena, Bert Jansch, Tim Walker and Jimi
Hendrix.
A
respected performer and teacher of the guitar, since his return to
Australia (1972), after over a decade of performing and studying in
Europe, he has devoted himself to music and especially to the study of
the much neglected music of the Australian Aborigines, music which he
regards as a vitally important and intrinsic part of Australia's
culture. Sebastian has recorded with notable groups Yothu Yindi, the
David Gulpilil Group and his recent project Waak Waak Jungi.

David
is one of Australia's most gifted and insightful martial artists. An
instrument maker of International calibre David has remained one of the
most respected violin makers in Australia. Skilled and experienced in
many aspects of Japanese arts, David has had several exhibitions of
Sumi-e.
