VISION BOARD COLLAGE RETREAT (18+)

It’s time to treat yourself to a retreat where the focus is on YOU. It will help you set the tone to achieve the holy grail of vision boarding: a bespoke visual piece that encompasses what you are looking, hoping and/or striving for to do and/or feel.

STORYHOLDING presents you with the opportunity to tap into the creation of your very own visual journey where you get to dabble in what some artists may call the dark arts of contemporary art, i.e. collage. Why? Because you’ll be given a free pass to breaking the first barrier of a steadfast rule that’s echoed through most of our lives: NOT to cut up books! In this retreat, you’ll be ENCOURAGED to do just that! From your chosen “destroyed” pieces, you’ll get to CREATE your very own beautiful vision board – A VISUAL EPIPHANY. Like a phoenix from a flame. Gone with what’s not needed - into the future with only what serves you.

WHEN | SATURDAY 11 Feb - 10AM

WHERE | STORYHOLDING POOLSIDE STUDIO

MARY CAIA - MANDALA WORKSHOP

The Mandala takes you on an inner journey,

DATE: Sunday 21st January 2024

TIME: 10am - 4pm

Mary Caia has been under the guidance of Lama Tendar, a Tibetan Lama, which has deepened her understanding of Mandalas.

This old tradition from the Tibetan lineage can now be utilise for ourselves as a prelude to meditation.

The process of painting a Mandala opens the gateway to your inner and most highest self, activating your intuition and creating compassion, love, peace and tranquillity.

As you work on your Mandala you slowly integrate and become the Mandala itself the source of Oneness.

By sourcing symbols of other traditions, students can draw on symbols of a lineage they connect with, encompassing their ancestral background

Materials list on enrolment.
