This is the first line from one of The Montsalvat Songs, a song cycle for voice and piano by Jacqui Rutten with words by various authors. Jacqui is composing the songs with pen and paper while she is Artist in residence at Montsalvat. Notated birdsong are a feature of the melody based music. The song cycle will be premiered along with facts and figures about the current housing crisis, and vocal music Jacqui composed in Ireland. Artists include lovely young soprano, Petronella Van Tienen, a VCA graduate. 
Profits will be donated to a shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness.
