Life Drawing Sessions at Montsalvat

Montsalvat offers an opportunity for those who wish to develop creative and technical skills for figure drawing in an elegant environment in the Barn Gallery. This will be open to students drawn to explore their interest in figure drawing as a way of building confidence for their own artistic projects or further study regardless of skill.
Facilitator Florentina Munteanu will share a range of approaches to drawing the figure from observation and provide key aspects that will present a better understanding of the essential role of drawing in the visual arts and the conflict of our mindset when it comes to drawing from observation.
Florentina is a Romanian born, Australian artist and a drawing teacher who has extensive experience in life drawing. She studied with Mary Tonkin at Monash University where she was also a teacher.
