EXHIBITION: Fiorella Giarrusso - Solo exhibition

Fiorella showed an interest in artistic expression early in her life and is a successful artist to date. She is highly accomplished in a range of artistic media: oils, pastels and water colours.

Fiorella has done numerous exhibitions and sold works, including at the prestigious Camberwell Art Show and at the Heidelberg Art Society.

For many years, Fiorella was the Assistant to Master Artist the late Dudley Drew in his twice-weekly art classes.

Although proficient with any subject matter, Fiorella’s principal themes are Australian landscapes and seascapes in oils and in watercolor, which are well represented in this exhibition.

Fiorella says “I love trees, and I love gum trees the most because they are so interesting and somewhat magical to me, they make me feel part of this mystical world...  I get lost when I’m painting them, like in a fantasy world.”

Residents Gallery, May 16 - June 10
*PLEASE NOTE that this exhibition will be unavailable for viewing between 12pm-4pm on Sunday June 9 due to an event

Returning from a visit to the ‘Twelve Apostles’ along the Great Ocean Road, this breathtaking view of the unruly sea stayed with me... Nature’s awe-inspiring splendour is reflected in the colourful mottled sky, as well as in the rugged cliffs – it was very satisfying to capture this immense vista.
