Our historic tours cover a brief history of Montsalvat's buildings and grounds, discussing the unique characters who built this beautiful artists colony, as well as detailing the procedures that went into the construction of the various buildings.

Tours will start in the Barn Gallery at 10am

These tours are free with your ticket to the grounds so be sure to purchase your grounds ticket separately and then book your free tour ticket below.

While the duration may vary slightly, our tours generally last for 1 - 1.5 hours

Please note that as these tours require a significant amount of walking, if weather conditions are particularly inclement the tour will not go ahead

*Montsalvat terrain is built on a slope with paths of stones and gravel. The tour includes steps and paths that are difficult for ‘walkers’ and wheelchairs.
The tour will be a mixture on indoors and outdoors, so please check the forecast before arriving and dress appropriately.
