Make a Pocket Bunny Softie with Clare from Tog & Pini

Do you love carrying treasures in your pocket? I do! These little bunnies can go with you wherever you go, ready for any game, or just to keep as a secret friend.

Each child will take home a sweet miniature rabbit softie and little folded paper bed.

This project involves stuffing your softie and stitching it up, then cutting out and gluing your little bunny bed (previous experience with stitching is preferred). Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend and assist their child in creating their special miniature rabbit softie! Children will be using needles and scissors for their project.

This workshop is suitable for children aged between 6 to 12 years. All materials will be supplied and tickets include entry to the Montsalvat grounds for one child and one adult for the day. Bring a packed lunch and enjoy a picnic in the grounds after the workshop or book a table at the Boulevard restaurant (phone 9431 2681 to book).

Clare is a local artist living in the leafy suburb of Research where she creates and paints. Her range includes prints, greeting cards, textiles, jewellery and sculptures. Clare’s family and menagerie of pets including guinea pigs, chickens, dogs and a rabbit are her constant inspiration. You can visit Clare at local markets or online at www.togandpini.com.
