Join us for an end of year celebration at the Montsalvat Jazz Gala! Hosted by renowned jazz and classical musician Joe Chindamo who will also grace the stage for a performance. Opening the night will be the Melbourne University Jazz Ensemble, winners of the 2023 Montsalvat New Talent Jazz Prize featuring Indigo King on vocals , Abi Lee on piano, Jack Dobson on bass, Max Crosby on guitar and Brandon Appleby on saxophone! Followed by veteran of the Melbourne music scene, Julie O’Hara and her trio.  ‘O'Hara's vocals are imbued with a strong jazz feel with eloquent phrasing, melodic variations and rhythmic expression.’ - John McBeath (The Australian).
