PETER WEGNER | The Centenarian Series

Join us for a long overdue presentation by award-winning figurative artist; painter, printmaker and sculptor, Peter Wegner. Peter will talk about the Centenarian Series; a project that began in 2013 with a drawing of his 104-year-old Aunty Rita and continues today with over 100 drawings of Centenarians completed. His painting of centenarian artist, Guy Warren, was awarded the Archibald Prize in 2021.

Peter will present the project, the process, the works, and the inspiration he receives from the people he draws.
