Artist Statement
I am the current artist in residence at Edendale Farm, exploring sustainable photographic image making. I have been fortunate to be given the opportunity to do some experimentation at Montsalvat where I have installed various solar pinhole cameras, all made from recycled materials and filled with old expired photographic paper.
These solar cans will be left up for anywhere between 24 hours to 6 months. Solar photography is an experimental process that captures the sun's path over time.
I will also be sourcing some organic materials to make sustainable developers and capture some pinhole images of the architecture and surrounds.
My Instagram is @dylannegriphotography if you would like to follow my progress.
