Jenni and Mervyn are both Eltham born artists with a lifetime of art in their blood. They were influenced early through the Montsalvat family. They have travelled extensively together and independently to wild places including the Australian deserts, Antarctica, The Artic, Mongolia, Norway, and Africa. In 2016 they relocated their studios from Eltham to Hamilton in the Western District of Victoria. For the past few years, they have put their creative energies into exploring nearby Gariwerd, The Grampians.

Much of the work in this exhibition depicts recent work from the Grampians and the Western District; the wilderness of the Mountains and the landscape of the cultivated plains and formal gardens, included are selected paintings from previous journeys to Wild Places.
